In case you feel pain or discomfort in general your health will become the center of attraction. We always suggest the slogan: prevention is better than treatment. Unfortunately statistics are showing that the majority of people seldom use check-ups. That is based on our lifestyle in the hectic business world.

Van Hanh Hospital would like to send you a message “the key to maintain your happiness is your HEALTH & THE EARLY DETECTION through HEALTH SCREENING programs "
Our health screening programs at Van Hanh hospital are completely different from the implementation of regular health check-ups. They are carefully designed in statistics and in pratice to assess all your health status.

Your health screening will be conducted in a comfortable and private setting where you will receive personalized attention from our team of professional doctors and dedicated staff. We will help you to understand your health issues with a positive attitude , friendliness and professionalism of our staff

In addition to health screening services (wellness check-ups, health check hcm, medical check up hcmc), we are also licensed to conduct medical check-up and issue HEALTH CERTIFICATE for foreigners under Circular 14/2013/TT-BYT of Ministry of Health in Ho Chi Minh city.

    6. Colposcopy
Cervix inflammation (cervicitis) is a popular gynaecological disease. The symptom of this disease is that there is much leukorrhoea. If bacterial contamination goes along with, leukorrhoea will include pus and stinking smell. Cervicitis reduces conceivableness among patients, especially if inflammation is included. Therefore, nonproductive women who take cervix inflammation should be treated this disease firstly.

Moreover, some chronic cervicitis taking people who can take doubtful injury should be tested with Pap's smear and colposcopy to detect abnormal cells. If there is any appearance of malignant cells, it is important to inspect early to treat.
New Cervical Cancer Screening Recommendations from the American Cancer Society/American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology/American Society for Clinical Pathology
    Population

    ACS/ASCCP/ASCP

    Younger than 21 years

Women should not be screened regardless of the age of sexual initiation or other risk factors.?

    21–29 years

Screening with cytology alone every 3 years is recommended.

    30–65 years

Screening with cytology and HPV testing (“co-testing”) every 5 years (preferred) or cytology alone every 3 years (acceptable) is recommended.

    Older than 65 years

Women with evidence of adequate negative prior screening and no history of CIN2+ within the last 20 years should not be screened. Screening should not be resumed for any reason, even if a woman reports having a new sexual partner.

    After hysterectomy

Women of any age following a hysterectomy with removal of the cervix who have no history of CIN2+ should not be screened for vaginal cancer. Evidence of adequate negative prior screening is not required. Screening should not be resumed for any reason, including if a woman reports having a new sexual partner.

    HPV vaccinated

Recommended screening practices should not change on the basis of HPV vaccination status.

    7. EGD – esophagogastroduodenoscopy
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is a test to examine the lining of the esophagus (the tube that connects your throat to your stomach), stomach, and first part of the small intestine. It is done with a small camera (flexible endoscope) that is inserted down the throat.

EGD may be done if you have symptoms that are new, cannot be explained, or are not responding to treatment, such as:
Black or tarry stools or vomiting blood
    Bringing food back up (regurgitation)
Feeling full sooner than normal or after eating less than usual
Feeling that food is stuck behind the breastbone
    Heartburn
Low blood count (anemia) that cannot be explained
Pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen
Swallowing problems or pain with swallowing
Weight loss that cannot be explained
Nausea or vomiting that does not go away

Your doctor may also order this test if you:Have cirrhosis of the liver, to look for swollen veins (called varices) in the walls of the lower part of the esophagus, which may begin to bleed
    Have Crohn's disease
Need more follow-up or treatment for a condition that has been diagnosed
The test may also be used to take a piece of tissue for biopsy.
    8. Colonoscopy
The colon and rectum are part of the large intestine. Colorectal cancer occurs when tumors form in the lining of the large intestine. It is common in both men and women. The risk of developing colorectal cancer rises after age 50. You're also more likely to get it if you have colorectal polyps, a family history of colorectal cancer, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, eat a diet high in fat, or smoke.

Symptoms of colorectal cancer includeDiarrhea or constipation
A feeling that your bowel does not empty completely
Blood (either bright red or very dark) in your stool
Stools that are narrower than usual
Frequent gas pains or cramps, or feeling full or bloated
Weight loss with no known reason
    Fatigue
    Nausea or vomiting
Because you may not have symptoms at first, it's important to have screening tests. Everyone over 50 should get screened. Tests include colonoscopy and tests for blood in the stool. Treatments for colorectal cancer include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or a combination. Surgery can usually cure it when it is found early.
